It’s that time again. As spring begins to pop around the Wright County area, it’s time to celebrate Easter with friends around the community.
Events begin this Saturday, April 1 and roll through the Easter weekend. Here’s a quick look:
Swan River Montessori Charter School Hosts Monticello Breakfast with the Bunny
Meet the Easter Bunny and woof down some waffles at the Monticello Community Center at the annual Breakfast with the Bunny event, held from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 1.
Breakfast will feature waffles with toppings, sausage, fresh fruit, donuts, yogurt, milk, orange juice and coffee. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for kids age 3 to 12. Kids 2 or under eat free!
Or, bring a canned food item for the food shelf and get a buck off your ticket.
There will be crafts, tattoos, coloring projects and silent auction. Two big door prizes will be given away, as well.
All proceeds benefit the Wright County Crisis Nursery.
Albertville Breakfast with the Bunny
The Albertville Lions Club and Financial Security Bank will host a “Breakfast with the Bunny” from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 1 at Albertville City Hall.
The morning will feature muffins, fruit and juice for everyone. There will be goody bags while supplies last, as well as coloring contests and door prizes.
Be sure to bring a camera to get your photo with the Easter Bunny.
This event is free, but donations of a non-perishable food item to the Hanover Food Shelf would be appreciated.
Otsego Easter Egg Hunt
The annual event is set for April 8 at Prairie Center in Otsego. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., kids are invited to hunt for hidden Easter eggs as well as visit with the Easter Bunny. A bike giveaway, face painting, stickers and tattoos are also planned.
This event is free.
Also Saturday, April 8, there is an Easter egg hunt for dogs! Check out the Otsego Dog Park at Prairie Park (near Prairie Center) from 12:30 to 1 p.m. for the hunt, followed by photos with the Easter Bunny until 2 p.m.
Albertville Outlets Easter Egg Hunt
Albertville Premium Outlets will host its second annual free Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 15, open to all children ages 10 and younger. Starting at 9:45 a.m., kids and their families can explore the property for Easter eggs and get their picture taken with the Easter Bunny for free. From noon-2 p.m., families can enjoy face painting, a petting zoo, and opportunities to win gift cards and other prizes.
Hanover Easter Egg Hunt
The City of Hanover will welcome egg hunter age 10 and under to Settlers Park from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 15 for the annual Easter Egg Hunt. There will be some activities, as well as the hunt this year at the park.
