UPDATE: Police report the toddler, Harlen Hulbert, has been found. The suspects remain at large and police are still asking for the public’s help in locating the vehicle.
ORIGINAL STORY: Minneapolis Police and other state authorities have issued an Amber Alert for a 2 1/2-year-old boy who was abducted after his mother was stabbed around 6 a.m. Tuesday morning. The child is Harlen Vontrel Hulbert.
Harlen is an African-American toddler with brown eyes and brown hair.
Minneapolis Police report the child was taken by the non-custodial father. The vehicle used to transport the attackers was a Silver Dodge Durango with Minnesota license plate 628MMM.
The police say that there were two men involved in the alleged stabbing. The second man was armed with a gun. Authorities are urging caution as the suspects are both armed and considered dangerous.
Witnesses who spot the vehicle should call 911 immediately.
