Seven candidates, including two incumbents, are vying for three open seats on the St. Michael-Albertville School Board. Board members serve four-year terms. The seven candidates are: Kari Dwinnell, Joan Keiner, Tom Polinceusz, Brian Reinbold, Hollee Saville, Drew Scherber (incumbent) and Carol Steffens (incumbent).
It’s the largest field for the school district in recent memory, prompted, in part, by a $35 million bond issue that’s tentatively set for February 2017.
All seats are “at large,” meaning no candidate represents just a portion of the district.
