STMA Rotary and Shop STMA are seeking nominations for St. Michael’s “Holiday Cheermeister.” This special person will have the honor of lighting St. Michael’s holiday tree during the 5th Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration Dec. 5 at St. Michael City Center.
Nominees for Holiday Cheermeister must be either St. Michael residents, be involved in a St. Michael organization or own or work at a St. Michael business. Nominees should be actively involved in the St. Michael community, embody the holiday spirit, and exemplify Rotary’s Four-Way Test, which asks: Of the things we think, say or do: 1.Is it the TRUTH?, 2.Is it FAIR to all concerned?, 3.Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? 4.Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
To make a nomination, visit www.stmarotary.org or pick up a nomination form at Shop STMA businesses or St. Michael City Hall. Nominations will be accepted through Nov. 18. The Holiday Cheermeister will be selected by Shop STMA and STMA Rotary, and announced in mid-November.

The Holiday Tree Lighting celebration is scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5.
