From the mythic stop in the Hilltop Bar for a glass of water, to the green acres just off Hennepin County Roads 19 and 117, any Wright County “old-timer,” and yeah, some new faces, will tell you Bob and his brother are Hanover regulars.
Well, sort of. Close enough.
Despite his fame and, yes, fortune, Bob isn’t the biggest public persona. He lives an intensely private life. So Hanover, and Wright County, are the perfect place for him. Along the Crow River, Bob Dylan isn’t going to get rushed by fans, and he can simply live his life in peace.

Here’s the press release, announcing Minnesota’s native son as the winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature:
The Nobel Prize in Literature for 2016 is awarded to Bob Dylan “for having created new poetic expressions within the great American song tradition.”
