The Shane Martin Band will be performing live at the Albertville Lions Farmers Market on Thursday, July 28. The band, which is a local favorite at bars and outdoor shows around the area, will start at 6 play until 9 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend this free concert in the park. Bring your family, friends, neighbors and a lawn chair and enjoy some live music.
The Lions will have concessions available including brats, hotdogs, chips, pop, and water.
There will also be a Vendor and Craft Show on September 11th at the farmers market. This is a special feature the Lions have incorporated with the Farmers Market on the second Thursday of each month, said Lion LeRoy Berning.
The Lions will also be sponsoring a Classic Car Show on next month at the Farmers Market. The Car Show will run from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 classics by peoples choice.
The Farmers Market will run from 3 to 7 p.m., as usual. There are nearly 20 vendors offering their goods each week and the Lions will concessions each week at the main shelter.
The market will also be featured at Open Streets STMA, set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10.
The Lions sponsor live music each Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m.. The Farmers Market runs every Thursday from June through September.
