The STMA VFW Baseball Team took the championship title this weekend at The Big Lake 16U open baseball tournament. Battling sweltering heat and high winds, STMA defeated a tough Mankato team on Sunday to finish out the weekend on top. Backed by solid pitching and defensive play, along with timely hitting, STMA was able to go 4 – 0 for the tournament.
