Nine young women from the St. Michael, Albertville and Otsego area are taking their shot at the crown this week, vying for the title of Miss Albertville or Miss Albertville Princess.
Three of the women will be selected. The trio, along with the Albertville Junior Royalty, will represent the community at a multitude of events over the year, including several other community festivals, fundraisers, school activities and appearances.

After kicking off their spring in the Zimmerman Parade last month and taking part in the Rock-A-Thon fundraiser last weekend, the girls have a few events lined up this week. Here’s a look:
Tuesday June 7th – MEET YOUR CANDIDATES SHOW at the High School PAC 6:30-8 $3.00 The candidates will wear something from their closet that best represents them AND tell you about what is going on during Friendly City Days! They will also answer their on-stage question! It is going to be a GREAT SHOW!! Please join us!
Saturday June 11th TWO EVENTS! #1 Rootbeer Floats and Face painting with the Candidates from 11-1 at the Lions Shelter – Donations welcomed! #2 SPAGHETTI DINNER 4:30-6:30 at St. Albert’s Parish Center. Enjoy a yummy dinner with spaghetti, meatballs (optional), House Salad, Garlic Bread and Cookies! $8.00 per person (Sr.’s and children under 10 are $5.00). We will have live music as well!
Sunday June 12th – THE BIG DAY!! Watch the Current Royal Court in their final Parade as well as the candidates! The Grand Parade starts at 1 p.m. The Jr. Candidates will join their Miss “Buddy” in the convertible! Then following the parade, join us to see who is crowned as the 41st ALBERTVILLE ROYAL COURT!! High School PAC @ approx. 4:30pm $5 ticket (you may purchase at the door)
