Dairy farmer Ray Eull, one of the mainstays of the St. Michael farming community that is at the root of this community, died on Valentine’s Day. He was 92.
Ray was born Feb. 24, 1923 in Frankfort Township, Wright County to Jacob and Catherine (Wey) Eull.
On July 8, 1953, Raymond W. Eull and Marjorie F. Schaufler were married at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church in Maple Lake. The couple had five children.
Ray was a dairy farmer his entire life, owning the land that was, for a long time, west of St. Michael. He enjoyed all aspects of farming, playing cards and spending time with his grandchildren.
Ray is survived by loving wife of 62 years-Marjorie; children-Elroy (Kathy) Eull of Big Lake, Arlene (Jack) Nelson of Albertville, Chuck (Theresa) Eull of St. Michael, LaDonna Eull of Albertville and Lisa Eull of Albertville; grandchildren-Jeremiah Eull, Joshua Eull, Chris (Val) LaPointe and Sandra (Bryce) Koke; great-grandchildren-Kane and Ivan LaPointe; siblings-Clarence (Mary Ann) Eull, Helen (Paul) Peloquin and sister-in-law Mary Lou Eull all of St. Michael; many other relatives and friends.
He’s preceded in death by his parents; siblings-Adeline Kirchberg, Isabel Eull, Eleanore Zachman, Harold Eull, Elmer Eull and Veronica Becker.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Raymond Eull will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016 at St. Michael Catholic Church, with internment to follow. A visitation for the Eull family will be held at the from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17 at Peterson Chapel St. Michael-Albertville, and one our prior to the mass.
Casket bearers will be Tim Eull, Tom Eull, Jake Eull, Carl Eull, Ron Peloquin, William Zachman.

Mass of Christian Burial for Lois Paumen will be held on Tuesday, February 23rd, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Monticello. Father Tony VanderLoop will be the Celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Henry’s Cemetery. Readers for the Mass will be Karen Black and LeAnne Martin. Gift Bearers will be Lois’s grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Monday, Feb. 22, 2016 from 4-8 p.m, also at St. Henry’s. Further visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday morning, February 23rd one hour prior to Mass.
Richard Edward Straus, St. Michael, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016 in St. Michael. Funeral services were Saturday, Feb. 13 at Peterson Chapel, St. Michael-Albertville.
Timothy Willard Hurley, Albertville, died Sunday, February 7, 2016, in Albertville. A memorial service will be held for Timothy at noon on Tuesday, May 17 at Lakewood Cemetery Chapel, 3600 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis. Visitation will be a half hour prior to the memorial service. Timothy proudly served his country in the United States Army and the Army Reserves.
