Coborns Grocery Store, as well as the Little Dukes Gas Station and the Coborns Liquor Store in Albertville, will remain open for Thanksgiving.
And you can add the Albertville Premium Outlets – all 100 stores – to the list of retailers opening their doors early on Thanksgiving evening.
Stores in the outlet mall will open at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 27, rolling through the entire evening and until 10 p.m. on Black Friday.
Thanksgiving weekend hours at the mall are from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30.
Dozens of retailers have decided to open their doors on Thanksgiving night, a shift that’s happened over the past four years. Prior to that, some stores would open at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, or in the wee hours of Friday morning, following the holiday.
Target will be opening its doors at the three locations surrounding St. Michael-Albertville – Monticello, Rogers and Otsego – at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving. So, too, will Kohl’s in Rogers, Walmart in Monticello and other various locations around the metro.

Walgreen’s is leading the pack, opening at 8 a.m. nationally on Thanksgiving Day.
Locally, most small businesses will be closed on Thanksgiving, including Coborns’ local compeitor, Marketpace. But check out all of the Shop Saint Michael specials during the week, including Hardware Hank, Dehmer’s Meats.
