Saturday, 10/10/15 – Fall Collection
Back by Popular Demand! Local volunteers from the non-profit charity, The Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SSVdP), will receive your donations in the St. Michael Catholic School parking lot from 8am-1pm (sorry, no early drop offs).
Items that are not directly sold or given to the poor are used to raise funds to support our programs and services. Your donations are sold in SSVdP’s two thrift stores to help generate revenue for our programs and support our ability to serve the needy.
Some items we CAN accept:
Clothing, shoes, purses, belts – any season, any condition – things you might throw could be turned into rags, fertilizer or even chemical absorbent!
Household Items – furniture in good condition (excluding office furniture of any kind), small appliances, linens, etc.
*Religious Items – rosaries, crucifixes, statues, pictures, bibles, jewelry and other blessed items
Most Tools & Hardware, Sporting Goods
Audio/Visual – Books & magazines, sheet music and music books, audiotapes, CDs, record albums, VHS tapes, DVDs (no computers or monitors)
Toys and Games – clean and in good repair
Baby Equipment – less than 5 years old and not on the recall list
Some items we CANNOT accept: Computers, monitors, large appliances, exercise equipment, pianos, office furniture and beds.
