So, now we know the rest of the story.
St. Michael’s Kevin Hogan rocked the regional qualifier of “American Ninja Warrior” in the second episode of this season’s run, and last night, the local athlete was featured as he came in 19th overall, just out of the top 15, in the Kansas City Regional Final.
A great run for a guy who trains in an unassuming pole shed outside of Buffalo.
“The Taxinator” – Hogan is an accountant – was hampered a bit by an arm injury that affected his grip. He fell when leaping from one aerial obstacle to another when his left hand slipped off the ledge.
Hogan and a few of his Ninjas United cohorts headed down to Kansas City earlier this year to take their shot at the NBC hit. A few of them made the grade, as the Kansas City regional was featured earlier this season (the premiere, back in June). The local angle also caught the attention of Eric Perkins, local TV personality, who came and spent time with the crew. You can check out that clip here.
Here are a couple of quick looks at Kevin’s final runs, shown last night on NBC (KARE 11)
