St. Michael Daze and Knights is gearing up now for its 9th annual celebration and a new, colorful experience is being added to the mix.
Organizers are setting up the St. Michael 5K Color Daze Run, a true “Color Run,” set for 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 15. The starting line and registration will be located at the St. Michael Daze and Knights Festival Grounds, located just west of the St. Michael City Center on Town Center Drive. Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m., and forms for the race are available here.
Color runs have become increasingly popular over the past three years, including several in the Twin Cities area. Colored corn starch is used to toss into the air – creating a “smoke-like” effect.
St. Michael Daze and Knights is set for Aug. 14 and 15 in between St. Michael City Center and Allina Clinic on Town Center Drive. Events include a parade (Saturday), live shows both Friday and Saturday night, games, food and much more.
Check out the St. Michael Daze and Knights website for full information, forms to download required for participation in some of the events and photos from past events.
