SOAR Regional Arts Group, which involves teens, children and adults from the St. Michael-Otsego-Albertville-Rogers/Elk River area, is taking it back to the “old school” this summer with its presentation of a Disney musical, set to take the this week.
“High School Musical” will be presented at the St. Michael-Albertville High School Performing Arts Center (PAC) from Aug. 6 to Aug. 9, with shows at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 6-8 and two matinees, one each at 2 p.m. on Aug. 8 and 9.
SOAR’s first all-teen cast features regular members of the Teen Arts Group (TAG), which SOAR started recently and featured at its popular holiday show last December.

Tickets at the door of the PAC will be available for $2 more.
Background
Disney Channel’s smash summer hit “High School Musical” has been around for a few years, but is coming to life onstage here in STMA/Otsego/Rogers for the first time in the summer. Troy, Gabriella and the students of East High deal with issues of first loves, friends and families all while balancing classes and extracurricular activities.
