Minnesota State Patrol Shares St. Michael ‘Pool’ Story

The so-called “Dog Days” of summer are coming. The National Weather Service’s most recent forecast shows temperatures will hit the upper 80s and low 90s this weekend, with high, almost “tropical” dewpoints making it feel even warmer.

However, if you’re thinking about beating the heat by turning your pickup truck into a swimming pool, you might want to put that idea in “park.”

Or, leave the truck in the yard.

A St. Michael man was recently cited by a Minnesota State Patrol trooper for driving around his truck-turned-mobile swimming pool, according to a recent Facebook post shared by the MSP Facebook account.
