St. Michael’s Marilyn Swanson was strolling along the paved trail near Big Woods Elementary when she noticed something she hasn’t seen on a morning walk before.
A rainbow made its way across the western sky as the Thursday morning sun broke through the clouds. Showers were moving into the St. Michael area, but skies to the east were still clear, allowing for the rare phenomenon.
Then, as Swanson turned her attention to where the sun was coming from, she caught this amazing shot of Thursday morning’s sunrise.
