The parade usually lasts about an hour, and ceremonies than move to the Riverside Cemetery in Monticello. There will be wreath-laying services at the Veterans Memorial in Ellison Park, as well as salutes at St. Henry’s Catholic Cemetery and Hillside Cemetery in Monticello.
The afternoon concludes with lunch (which starts after the parade for those who don’t attend ceremonial services) at the American Legion on Elm Street. A freewill donation will be accepted for the lunch.
