An accident involving multiple vehicles on westbound Interstate 94 has closed the one lane of the highway around 4:30 p.m. today.
Images show first responders, including Allina and CentraCare ambulance vehicles, on the scene on the west side of the highway, with cars pulled off to the shoulder, west of the Highway 25 interchange.
This weekend is Minnesota’s opening weekend for the fishing season, and vehicles were heavy on the westbound side of the highway as travelers headed to lakes area destinations.
