Wright County Sheriff’s Office Investigating ATV Crash

The Wright County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an ATV crash that injured two juvenile males Thursday afternoon, April 2.

The accident happened shortly after 1 p.m. near the St. Michael-Albertville High School. The WCSO assisted at the scene, along with Allina Ambulance and St. Michael Fire and Rescue. 

According to a report filed by the sheriff’s office: 

Caller, Marty Thompson of St. Michael stated that two juvenile males had just rolled an ATV on 47th Street and Kaelin Avenue. Both juveniles were thrown from the ATV.


Allina Ambulance transported the juveniles to North Memorial hospital. Both were conscious at the time of of transport.


Neither of the two boys were wearing helmets at the time of the accident.

 

The ATV owner, Natalya Yukhimchuk of St. Michael, stated that the juveniles did not have permission to be riding the ATV. 


The accident is being reviewed for possible charges.
