BREAKING: New Homes Leveled by Otsego Wildfire

The four-alarm fire broke out shortly after 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 1.

At least four new homes have been destroyed and multiple fire departments are continuing to battle flames after a wildfire in Otsego broke containment and tore through a new housing development.

The fire was reported around 4 p.m., just as winds were whipping up higher than 20 mph and a storm front was coming through the area.

St. Michael Fire, Rogers Fire Department, Elk River Fire and Maple Grove Fire and Rescue were on scene, but couldn’t turn back flames before they hit the structures.

The location of the fire was in the n the 5500 block of Ramier Avenue, according to a Fox9 News report.
