The Autism Allies annual Autism Resource Fair returns to Monticello this weekend, an invaluable collection of forums and go-to items for parents of children and adults living within the spectrum.
Set for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, the 6th Annual Resource Fair is for individuals, families, professionals, and practitioners that support those individuals with Autism.
The forum features vendors and speakers that will talk about topics ranging from behavioral intervention techniques to nutritional options; where to go when your loved one has been recently diagnosed and what options those individuals with autism might have when it comes to services in their communities. There is free childcare that is provided to those with autism and food options. Also, there will be eight different educational speakers throughout the day with CEU’s available.
The Autism Allies Resource Fair is held at Monticello High School in Monticello, located off School Boulevard. Doors open at 9 a.m. Attendees can use Door No. 1 or Door No. 6 at the school.
