Services Set for Holly Hoglund Klein, Victim of Tuesday Crash

Funeral services have been set for the 44-year-old Maple Grove driver who was killed in a seven-car accident Tuesday on Interstate 94 west of her native community of Monticello.

Holly Hoglund Klein, 44, the president and owner of her family’s longtime business – Hoglund Bus Company – died suddenly Tuesday, March 3.

ObitsA funeral Mass is set for 11 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015 at St. Michael Catholic Church in St. Michael. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 6, also at the church.

Holly was born Jan. 8, 1971 to Lisa and Wayne Hoglund of Monticello. She graduated from Monticello High School in 1989 as salutatorian, and graduated with hnors from St. Thomas University, earning a master’s degree in international management.

She married Tom Klein soon after college, and the couple have three children – Gabe, Devin and Elle.

The family is an active member of St. Michael Catholic Church.

After working for Cargill, Inc., she returned to work at the family business founded by her grandfather, Stuart. She became the third-generation owner of the business, and expanded Hoglund Companies with a satellite services in Roseville andLakeville and the founding of Hoglund Body in Monticello in 2007. Under her guidance the company was awarded 2013 National Dealer of the Year.

She is survived by her husband, Tom, their three children, her mother, father, and many other family members, friends and colleagues.

She was an active member within the Saint Michael Catholic Church, being a leader within their CRHP (Christ Renews His Parish) program and providing funeral luncheon foods frequently.

As her career kept her, she was an ever-present supporter of her family and a strong proponent of Catholic education. Her time and talents will be missed. Especially by those at Saint Michael Catholic School, Ave Maria Catholic School, and Saint Thomas Academy. She was loved, beloved and her legacy will live on in her deeds and contributions.
