The Albertville Royalty Committee is currently seeking ladies from the Albertville, St. Michael or Otsego area to join the Miss Albertville Candidate Program. To be eligible, each candidate must be between the ages of 17 and 19 years old.
The Albertville Royal Court represents Albertville in community parades and coronations, as well as Albertville city events. Volunteerism is an important part of this program; the Royal Court is encouraged to be active in charitable opportunities in and around our community.
This year, the Miss Albertville Candidates will be participating in some great candidate events, some of these include: A fun bowling event, an etiquette and interview tips night, the candidate Rock-A-thon fundraiser, the Meet the Candidates Program, Zimmermann Parade and ride in a convertible through the Friendly City Days Parade before the Albertville Royalty Coronation.
If selected, a scholarship is provided to apply towards whichever educational institution Miss Albertville and each Albertville Princess attends following the completion of her successful reign.
The Committee will be holding an informational meeting for all prospective candidates and a parent on Saturday, March 28th.
