The St. Michael/Albertville High School Speech Team hosted a tournament on Saturday, February 14, 2015 with over 600 entries and walked away with many students gaining recognition.
Honorable Mentions went to Kaitlyn Budion in Creative, Jeremiah Eull in Discussion, Katlyn Rohrer in Drama, Sap Coplen in Humor, Emily Duley in Impromptu, and Abbey Keister in Prose. Michael Wettschreck won 2nd place in the Next-In Final for Informative Speaking. Megan Noetzel won 2nd place in Drama, Marissa Stifter took 6th place in Humor and 4th place in Impromptu, Kaitlyn Budion won 3rd place in Impromptu, Brianna Goodchild placed 4th in Original Oratory, and Reanna Marthaler placed 7th in Prose.
The next tournament for the team will be this coming Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Forest Lake.
