Hempel Company, new owners of the Albertville Crossings retail complex at the intersection of LaBeaux Avenue Northeast (Wright County Highway 19) and 57th Street Northeast, is inviting residents of Albertville, St. Michael and Otsego, as well as the surrounding area, to a February Festival set for Saturday, Feb. 21.
The event, which will run from noon to 3 p.m. in front of the building on the south end that houses Hong Thai and Papa Murphy’s, among others, will feature a couple of open campfires to keep people warm, some live music, hot food and beverages on sale, winter lawn games and activities and booths featuring current businesses.
The event also serves another purpose. In the days leading up to the Feb Fest, residents can log on and vote on what type of businesses they’d like to see come to Albertville Crossing.
Hempel has set up a HoodStarter site, located here, where people can weigh in on future acquisitions. Past retailers included a sandwich shop, carpeting store, bank and sit-down restaurant, among others.
Musicant Group, organizers of the event, is looking for volunteers to assist people on the day of the event. Contact Katherine or Max at katherine@musicantgroup.com or max@musicantgroup.com for more information on how to help with the day’s festivities.
