The St. Michael-Albertville School District continues to spread its plea for funding equity, now using social media and an informational video to reach the public.
The video, released by District 885 Superintendent Dr. James Behle, features Behle speaking about the community’s schools continuing to struggle to “do less with more,” and pinpoints the district’s status as one of the lowest in terms of state funding.
Jox Metcalf, instructor in the communications and video department at STMA High School, helped create the video, which utilizes the high school’s daily news set, as well as video taken around the district.
It can be viewed in its entirety here:

The District is also utilizing a parent committee, dubbed STMA Equity for Excellence, to share information and rally parents with children in the schools.
