There is a host of pre-holiday events on the docket for the weekend, so NWCT decided to put a couple together for readers looking to fill those planners.

Otsego Lions Club Hosting Wine Tasting
The Otsego Lions Club will host a Fall Wine Tasting, brought to you by Pour Bottleshop, at the Otsego Prairie Center tonight (Friday, 11/14) from 7 to 9 p.m.
Brave the chill and warm up with wine, spirits and beer fit for your holiday feast. It’s a great way to get a jump on the holiday hustle and grab a bottle of white to go with that turkey, or red to accent that prime rib. Plus, craft beers and locally brewed spirits will be featured for those who venture away from the vineyard.
All proceed sales benefit the Otsego Lions Club and local programming, such as charitable giving, scholarships and community improvement projects.
STMA Stallions at the MN Special Olympics Bowling Tournament
The STMA Stallions Special Olympics Bowling team invites family, friends and fans to hit up the Brunswick Bowling Center in Brooklyn Park Saturday, Nov. 15, with sessions at 9;30 a.m. and 11 a.m.
This is the biggest Special Olympics bowling competition of the season, and the Stallions will have several athletes competing.
On Monday, the Stallions will hold their annual party in the Chamber Room at the St. Michael City Center. Along with pizza and games, STMA Stallions coaches, athletes and families will be packing dozens of shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. It’s an opportunity for the group and fans to give back to those in need. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. Monday night.
FYCC Mother/Son Hoedown
Mothers and their sons, in kindergarten through sixth grade, are invited to put on their jeans and boots, grab a Stetson and join us for two-steppin’ tunes, lunch, and cowboy games that will ensure a good time for everyone from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15. The event is set for Albertville City Hall- 5959 Main Avenue NE. Admission is $20 mother/son (additional sons $5 each) A professional photographer will be available to take a lasting memory.
