Family and friends have put together a special fundraiser for the family of Tyson Kinney, the 9-year-old Big Woods Elementary student who passed away last week at the University of Minnesota’s Amplatz Children’s Hospital.

According to the site, the fund is established to “support [Tyson’s] family in any costs that may come about as they say goodbye to a wonderful child, brother and friend, and continue to live their own lives this holiday season with the absence of Tyson.”
The funeral for Tyson Kinney is set for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18 at St. Albert’s Church in Albertville.
