Replay: Rogers Comes to St. Michael-Albertville for Instant Classic

The Rogers Royals and St. Michael-Albertville Knights have built one of the best rivalries in Mississippi 8 and all of Twin Cities football – as evidenced by KARE 11’s special reporting from the field in Albertville tonight.

For Rogers, it all comes down to this. The Royals can clinch the Blue Division and a share of the Mississippi 8 Conference Championship by defeating the Knights on their home field. They’d also take on the top seed in the Section 6-5A playoffs.

St. Michael-Albertville can’t clinch an outright Mississippi 8 crown, but they can move up into one of the top two seeds in the Section Tournament. They, can however, win the Blue Division with a win, and depending on how Elk River does vs. Blaine tonight, avoid a Tuesday night contest vs. one of the lower seeds in the section.
