It’s time to get out the costumes, bundle up against some of the late fall weather and hit the trail to enjoy Halloween, even if it is just a bit early.
The festivities start today, Thursday, Oct. 30 in St. Michael with a pair of events, and continue through Halloween night.
THURSDAY
St. Michael businesses will be filled with spooks and snow princesses as businesses around the community host the annual Halloween Passport Event, sponsored by Shop Saint Michael.
Pick up a Halloween Passport Card, beginning at 3 p.m. at Central Bank in St. Michael. Then, visit the participating businesses to collect Passport Stickers and a variety of Halloween Treats. Complete the form – with all 21 stickers – and drop it off at FYCC in Albertville (located on Main Avenue near city hall), and you’ll qualify for the Grand Prize Drawing.

Legacy at St. Michael Family Fun Night
Costumes are encouraged tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Legacy main building as the center hosts a family fun night for kids of all ages. There will be games, prizes and food for everyone, including some special treats.
HALLOWEEN
FYCC Spookhouse
It’s a not-so-scary Halloween event at the FYCC headquarters in Albertville, just south of city hall on Main Avenue. The night will include hay rides, a hay bale maze, games, spooky stories, pictures, treats and pumpkins for all, plus a goodie bag to take home for the kids. Cost is just $7 and includes all activities.
Coborn’s Halloween Party
Stop at the Albertville grocery store and get some free treats and treasures from the many departments inside the store. There will also be a slew of specials for mom and dad on everything from cookies to video rentals. The event starts at 4 p.m. shapr and runs until 7 p.m.
Albertville Premium Outlets
Select stores participate in Halloween night specials and hand out treats and goodies to shoppers.
