The Wright County Attorney’s Office reported the following sentences handed down in 10th District Court late last month, including a handful of cases tied to assaults and a local theft:
Trisha Ann Burroughs, age 37, of Rockford, sentenced Sept. 25 for Misdemeanor Assault in the Fifth Degree to 90 days jail; 82 days stayed for two years on conditions of probation, serve 8 days jail, pay $75 public defender co-payment, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, undergo chemical dependency treatment and follow all recommendations, undergo counseling, attend a support group and verify attendance, be placed on alcohol monitoring until first session of treatment begins, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced by Judge Halsey.
Patrick Michael Gordon, age 58, of Clearwater, sentenced on Sept. 23 for Felony Domestic Assault by Strangulation to a stay of execution for five years on conditions of probation, serve 60 days jail, pay $100 fine plus law library fee, undergo a chemical dependency assessment and follow all recommendations, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, provide DNA sample, have no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced by Judge Davis.
David Joseph Max, 38, of Buffalo, sentenced on Oct. 1 for Probation Violations for Gross Misdemeanor Interfere with a 911 Call to 10 days jail. Sentenced by Judge Halsey.
Timothy Stuart Smith, 42, Buffalo, sentenced on Oct.1 for Probation Violations for Gross Misdemeanor Second Degree DWI to 4 days jail. Sentenced by Judge Tenney.
Dennis Ray Tuttle, 50, Monticello, sentenced on Oct 1 for Felony Theft to a stay of execution for five years on conditions of probation, serve 11 days jail, obtain permission before leaving the state, pay restitution, undergo counseling and follow all recommendations, have no use or possession of non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced by Judge Strand.
Steven Nicholas Vannelli, 28, of Monticello, sentenced on Sept. 30 for Gross Misdemeanor Second Degree Refusal to Submit to Testing to 365 days jail, $300 fine; 335 days stayed for four years on conditions of probation, serve 30 days jail, pay $300 fine plus surcharges, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, attend a support group weekly and verify attendance, attend Awareness Panel for Impaired Drivers, undergo chemical dependency treatment and follow all recommendations, serve 60 days on electronic home monitoring, have no same or similar violations. Brian Kenneth Warn, age 50, of Buffalo, sentenced Sept. 22 for Gross Misdemeanor Domestic Assault to 365 days jail, $100 fine; 350 days stayed for two years on conditions of probation, serve 15 days jail, pay $100 fine plus surcharges, pay $75 public defender co-payment, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, have no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons, complete a domestic abuse program and follow all recommendations, undergo chemical dependency treatment and follow all recommendations, undergo a psychological evaluation and follow all recommendations, have no same or similar violations.
