The St. Michael-Albertville Knights, fresh off a 42-0 trouncing of Buffalo in its football home-opener, will travel to highly-touted St. Francis High this Friday night to take on the Fighting Saints, who rolled over Duluth East 55-0 in Week 1.
St. Michael-Albertville is led by senior quarterback Jackson Greenwaldt, who rushed for one touchdown and threw for three more in last week’s conference win.
The Knights, who have lost just one conference game since October 2012, will look to keep its hopes alive for a Mississippi 8 crown with a road victory. They lost out on the conference title last year in an overtime thriller vs. Rogers.
St. Francis and Rogers look to be the two other contenders for this year’s football conference championship.
Watch the game here, tonight, with kickoff at 7 p.m.
