The St. Michael Catholic Church goes back to its roots this weekend, as it does each fall, with the annual Fall Festival.
Formerly known as the St. Michael Parish Festival, the event has truly become a fall festival because of the community involvement, according to organizers, particularly over the last decade.
This year’s event will be no different, as the two-day celebration will include everything from a Polka Mass and traditional Sunday services to German food and chicken dinner. And, of course, the pretzels – nearly everyone’s favorite – are back (and lye-free!).
All events take place on the St. Michael Catholic Church grounds (11300 Frankfort Parkway NE), with action kicking off at 2 p.m. Sunday and wrapping up with a huge raffle drawing at 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 14.
