Wright County Sheriff’s Office Warns of Summer Vandals in St. Michael, Albertville

Summer nights usually spell time for summer mischief, and some is popping up here in St. Michael, Albertville and Otsego, according to the Wright County Sheriff’s Office.

WrightCoSheriff2Vandals are doing damage to property at residential and school buildings, according to local reports. Though most of the damage is small, collectively it can add up for a community, the WSCO reports. The sheriff’ is asking for residents to report any incidents they deem suspicious.

According to a statement issued Tuesday, July 1:

“The Wright County Sheriff’s Office has been locating numerous theft and criminal damage to property crimes in and around the St. Michael and Albertville area. The majority of these crimes are minor and are not being reported to the Sheriff’s Office. They are involving mostly lawn/landscape ornaments and decorations.

“We believe the suspects are traveling around in vehicles as the crimes are committed over a wide area. If you are a victim or have any information on these crimes or any other crimes in your neighborhood please contact the Wright County Sheriff’s Office at 763-682-7600.”
