St. Michael-Albertville United players from multiple age levels took part in Tuesday night’s Opening Ceremonies at the USA World Cup Tournament in Blaine.
Hundreds of teams from all over the globe, including Mexico, India and Canada, as well as throughout the United States, participate in this tournament, which is billed as the largest in the Western Hemisphere.
The excitement of the opening ceremonies includes a parade of teams in the main stadium (home of MN United Football Club, the state’s top professional team) at the National Sports Center in Blaine.
