Fields at Gutzwiller Park in St. Michael were packed this past weekend as the STMA United Soccer Club hosted it’s 3rd annual u9/10 Soccer Fest tournament June 28th & 29th.
The tournament brought together 48 teams representing 28 different clubs from all over Minnesota including traveling teams from Coon Rapids, Orono, Maple Grove, Minnetonka, Wayzata, South St. Paul and others for a weekend of competition and fun. Together, these 48 teams combined to bring 500+ players, 90+ coaches, and countless fans to the Gutzwiller soccer complex in St. Michael.
The tournament featured a total 72 games over two days, a food truck from No Name Steaks, the Ice Cream Machine truck and the Kohls All American Cup Experience for the players.
A big thank you to all of the teams that participated in the 2014 Soccer Fest and to our tournament sponsor J&B Wholesale. We hope to see all the teams back next season for the 4th annual soccer fest!
