A longtime Albertville farmhouse and barn that sat on the northeast side of town for generations is now gone, thanks to training by the Albertville Fire Department.
The community and property owners agreed to use the family farmhouse and aging barn structure for the drill. Departments from Albertville, St. Michael and Monticello, among others, participated.
Crews focused on keeping existing structures near the barn from burning, as well as making sure the building fire was done in a safe manner.
