Jeffrey Vinokur, also known as the Dancing Scientist, will present a program for families and teens at the St. Michael Public Library on Thursday, June 12, 7:00 to 7:45 p.m.
Vinokur has an M.S. in Biochemistry and specializes in demonstrating and explaining science through fast-paced, inspirational shows for children.
He visits schools across the country and has also appeared on NBC’s Today Show, the Discovery Show, and other nationally televised programs (where he also loves to demonstrate his dancing skills).
His appearance is funded in part with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
