The Wright County Attorney’s Office has reported the following sentences handed down in Wright County District Court, including a pair of sentences given to two men on cases of domestic assault.
Hipolito Cabrera, 22, Monticello, was sentenced on May 28 for Gross Misdemeanor Domestic Assault to 365 days jail, $3,000; 275 days, $3,000 stayed for two years on conditions of probation, serve 90 days jail, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, undergo a chemical dependency evaluation and follow all recommendations, complete Domestic Abuse Batterer’s Intervention Program and follow all recommendations, have no contact with victim, provide DNA sample, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced for Gross Misdemeanor Violation of No Contact Order to 365 days jail, $3,000 fine; 275 days, $3,000 stayed for two years on conditions of probation, serve 90 days jail, follow above conditions. Sentenced for Gross Misdemeanor Assault in the Fifth Degree to 365 days jail, $3,000 fine; 275 days, $2,985 stayed for two years on conditions of probation, serve 90 days jail, pay $15 fine plus surcharges, have no contact with victim, follow above conditions. And James Henry McKinney, 26, Buffalo, was sentenced on June 3 for Felony Domestic Assault and Felony Violations of an Order for Protection to 23 months prison, provide DNA sample. Sentenced by Judge Tenney.

Damon Allen Dockter, 20, of Monticello, sentenced on June 2 for Misdemeanor Disorderly Conduct to 90 days jail, $300 fine; 88 days stayed for one year on conditions of probation, serve 2 days jail, pay $300 fine plus surcharges, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced by Judge McPherson.
Brandon Paul Kelly, 20, of Monticello, sentenced on May 28 for Felony Criminal Sexual Conduct in the Third Degree to a stay of imposition for 15 years on conditions of probation, serve 195 days jail, obtain permission before leaving the state, follow all recommendations of psychosexual evaluation, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, have no contact with victim, have no contact with persons under the age of 18 years, have no use or access to the internet unless, including social networking, unless approved by probation agent, submit to a polygraph, provide DNA sample, have no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons, have no contact with victim or victim’s family, undergo a chemical dependency evaluation and follow all recommendations, have no same or similar violations. Juan Eric Newberry, 20, Big Lake, sentenced June 2 for Felony Receiving Stolen Property to a stay of imposition for five years on conditions of probation, serve 45 days jail, pay $300 fine plus surcharges, pay $75 public defender co-payment, pay restitution, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, provide DNA sample, complete cognitive skill training, obtain permission before leaving the state, have no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons, undergo a psychological evaluation and follow all recommendations, have no same or similar violations. Jennifer Jean Olsen, 41, St. Michael, sentenced on June 4 for Gross Misdemeanor Second Degree DWI to 365 days jail, $3,000 fine; 350 days, $2,700 stayed for three years on conditions of probation, serve 15 days jail, pay $300 fine plus surcharges, complete a Level II driving program and follow all recommendations, attend Awareness Panel for Impaired Drivers, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, serve 30 days on electronic home monitoring, have no same or similar violations.
