A bit of an update on St. Michael resident Ivan Weber, who is in the running for a new mobility van via a national contest sponsored by the National Mobility Awareness Month campaign on MobilityAwareness.com.
The contest is the project of The National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association, a non-profit that works with corporate giants like Braun Ability, Chrysler and Toyota.
Ivan reports that he has “made the top 10 percent,” which means his profile will be looked over by the NMEDA and the staff at Mobility Awareness. He’s still in the running for the top prize, which is one of four new, fully loaded minivans (made by Toyota or Chrysler) to be awarded nationally.
“I’m so happy. Either way, win or lose. It’s just been a great experience,” Weber said. “I just want to thank everyone. This feels so good.”
