The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources said the bright, spring weather that’s highlighting the week prior to the annual fishing opener is helping spur sales of fishing licenses statewide.
According to the DNR, about 236,000 fishing licenses had been sold by about 10 a.m. today, May 6. That’s 85,000 more than at this time a year ago.
