The Wright County Area United Way and Family Youth Community Connections of St. Michael and Albertville will team up Saturday morning to hand out dozens of bike helmets at this year’s installment of the FYCC Bike Rodeo.
The event begins at 10 a.m. at the St. Michael City Center, rain or shine, and will also feature dozens of community organizations, including tours of emergency vehicles from the two local fire departments and Allina Ambulance, radon testing kits from the WOW Van and a Car Seat Safey Check from 9 a.m. to noon courtesy of Wright County Public Health.
St. Michael-Albertville United will be on hand, as will North Wright County Today, FYCC, the United Way and many more with prizes and information. Lunch will be available (for a cost) for all families.
For car seat safety checks, a reservation is required. Those interested should call 763-682-7516 for more information.
The fun wraps up at noon so “families can get on with their weekend, which is finally supposed to be nice!” said Sandy Greninger of FYCC.
