Wright County 4-H Open House Today in Buffalo

Wright County 4-H will be hosting an “Explore 4:H day today, Friday, March 27 at Buffalo United Methodist Church, located at 609 8th St NW, Buffalo.

The group invites all kids to come to this open house even from 1-5 p.m. Drop in any time and stay as long as you like.

Member or not, and regardless of age, there’s always something new to try out in 4-H. The group is putting together a special day for kids to come and explore some of what 4‑H has to offer.

Here is an idea of what you can do for FREE at this year’s Project Day event:

*“Maps and Apps” National Youth Science Day activity

*Learn about monarch butterflies and make milkweed seed bombs

*Create a drawstring bag sewing project

*Make seed tape with Local Roots Food Co-op

*Bake a healthier cookie

*Create some community service goals

*Build a squishy circuit to power an LED light

*Play with robotics

*Learn about soil erosion with Wright Soil and Water Conservation District

*Find out what a zentangle is with help from the Buffalo Art Guild
