Funeral services have been set for Ryan Gapinski, 21, who died suddenly Friday morning when his vehicle rolled on 45th Street Northeast (Wright County Road 119) west of St. Michael.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 17 at the St. Michael Catholic Church in St. Michael. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. at the St. Michael Catholic Church Tuesday, March 17, with arrangements handled by Peterson Funeral Chapel of St. Michael.
Gapinski, a St. Michael-Albertville High School graduate, lost control of his 2003 Ford pickup on the winding road around 2:30 a.m. Friday, March 14. Authorities were called to the 8500 block of 45th Street Northeast and found the vehicle and Gapinski along the side of the road. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Hundreds of friends and classmates took to social media throughout the weekend to bid Gapinski, who was known for his sense of humor and ever-present smile, a farewell.
The crash is still under investigation by the Wright County Sheriff’s Department.
