Here’s a quick rundown of just some of the events in St. Michael, Albertville and beyond this weekend, including a home-buyer’s or seller’s seminar, a hockey fundraiser and a night at the fire department for a good cause.
Friday Fish Fries
There are fish fries a-plenty tonight, including the annual St. Michael-Albertville Rotary fish fry, which will be held tonight during “dinner” hours at the St. Michael American Legion/Liberty Bar and Restaurant in downtown St. Michael. The night will include fresh fish, sides, drinks and a meat raffle.
Fish fries will also be held at Neighbors Bar and Grill in downtown Albertville, Distractions in St. Michael and fish specials are on tap at Willy McCoy’s in Albertville, if you don’t feel like frying something up at home tonight.
Keller Williams and First American Bank Team Up for Real Estate Seminar
Looking to get out of that rental and into a new home? Or, do you own a home and are looking to sell? First American Bank of St. Michael (formerly Great Northern Bank) and Keller Williams Realty are teaming up for a seminar this weekend.
The first “Real Estate Simplified” session will be held at St. Michael’s First American Bank (GNB) building from noon to 1:30 p.m. and again at 2 p.m. running until 3:30 p.m. Sunday’s sessions will be held at the same times at Word of Peace Lutheran Church in Rogers.
Kimbra Ness will lead the discussion, as well as lenders from FAB-St. Michael.
Brian Nagel and Tim Daly Benefit
Swing by the Albertville Fire Department between 3 and 9 p.m. for a pulled pork dinner, hot dogs, beer, root beer, silent auction and much more as the Albertville community raises money for two EMTs injured in a January crash.

Hockey Night in STMA
The “Knight to Remember” event raises funds for a second sheet of ice at the STMA Arena. Check out the event listing for more.
Chicks Day at Kremer Toy and Hobby
Not “females.” Chicks. As in baby chickens. It’s a sign of spring as we attempt to move into spring hobbies includes purchasing new chicks for the Kremer family’s 4-H poultry project. The new chicks are here and will be at the store on Sunday for other families to enjoy while they are still cute and fluffy. Chicks will be available to hold, pet and take photos with prior to Ashley Darkenwald’s book signing
