Firefighter and electrician Jeffrey “Speedy” Kilian died Monday, March 24, 2014, at his home surrounded by family and friends. He was 52.
A 12-year veteran of the St. Michael Fire Department, Speedy was a well-known electrician in the area, the son of Archie Kilian and Audrey (Martin) Kilian.
Services are set for Friday, March 28 at St. Michael Catholic Church, St. Michael, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment will take place immediately following mass at the St Michael Catholic Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2014 from 4-8 P.M. at St. Michael Catholic Church. Further visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church.
Speedy is survived by his wife, Paula; parents: Archie and Audrey Kilian; children: Jacob, Andy, Sondra and Kristine Kilian; step-children: Andy and Stephanie Bohn; grandchildren: Bennett Kilian, Carson and Hailey Bohn; sisters: Pamela Kilian, Sheila Kilian, Lisa (Bill) Valerius, Sylvia (Jeff Becker) Kilian, Paula Kilian and Karla (Tom Ripplinger) Kilian; brother: Jason Kilian; many other relatives and friends.
