St. Michael Mayor Jerry Zachman will remain in charge of the county’s largest city, as the veteran politician and small-town business owner sailed past challenger Jennifer Pederson, a newcomer to the community, with nearly two-thirds of the vote.
Zachman picked up 3,338 votes to Pederson’s 1,715.
