A major milestone has been reached in the reconstruction of Interstate 94 between the two exits in Monticello this week.
According to the Minnesota Department of Transportation,
Crews have completed major construction on the future westbound Interstate 94 lanes in Monticello.
What happens next? According to MnDOT:
Crews will switch all traffic to the westbound side of the roadway, open a ramp, close a ramp, then begin construction on the future eastbound lanes and ramps.
Here’s a play-by-play version of what you can expect over the next four days (July 23-26).
